Cone with cylindrical hole

This drawing shows the projections of a cone that has a cylindrical hole passing through it. The hole is purposely off center and not horizontal, which makes the drawing a little more challenging to produce. The green shape with dashed border shows the cone unfolded. Print it out, cut out the shape (including the two holes) and fold it into a cone. Roll up a sheet of paper and insert it into the hole. Observe that the rolled sheet fits snugly in the hole. If you want, attach an elastic and wear the cone as a dorky hat!
